Vision problems are one of the weak points in the health of guinea pigs. According to recent studies conducted by Western veterinarians, every second pig has some kind of vision problem. There are quite a few diseases and eye problems that can develop in a mumps, so as they say, forewarned is forearmed.

What eye diseases do guinea pigs have? Eye infections are perhaps the most common problem, followed by corneal abrasions, cataracts, corneal ulcers, tumors, and so on.

Some breeders get excited when they see a white liquid that occasionally appears in the corners of the eyes of a guinea pig. Do not sound the alarm and invent different diagnoses. This is a normal, absolutely physiological phenomenon.
